The Scenic Rim Region is home to the first-ever tourism industry CARBONLOSER Challenge between March and June 2010.

Tourism industry network Scenic Rim Escapes is coordinating the Biggest CARBONLOSER Challenge for businesses (particularly tourism-related but all are welcome) and households. The Challenge kicks off on March 24 at 10am at the Logan and Albert Hotel Beaudesert.

The Ethos Foundation is a big supporter of the program – Ethos consultant Sally MacKinnon has designed and is facilitating all the Biggest CARBONLOSER Challenge workshops throughout the Scenic Rim. Ethos has also created the Biggest CARBONLOSER Action Stations Menu for participating businesses.

Ethos invites all Scenic Rim businesses to participate in this great program and shrink their carbon footprint, save money on their energy costs and green up our local economy through reduced CO2 pollution!
