Friday, 27 November 2009 19:16

Ethos if thrilled to announce that Drew Dellinger, poet, professor, activist, writer and founder of Poets for Social Justice, is coming to Australia for a jam-packed, two-week poetry and speaking tour between December 3-17 2009.

Drew has inspired hearts and minds at hundreds of events in many countries, performing poetry and talking about justice, ecology, cosmology, activism, democracy and compassion.

His first-ever Australian tour starts in Melbourne with several talks, poetry readings, workshops and evening presentations, including a speech at the Parliament of the World’s Religions on “The New Planetary Narrative: Connecting Ecology, Social Justice and Cosmology.”

Then the tour heads to Brisbane for more talks and poetry readings. On Saturday, Dec. 12, Drew will march for climate justice along with thousands in “Brisbane’s Walk Against Warming.” The march culminates with a concert, where Drew is one of the headliners, along with some of Australia’s finest musicians.

After stops in Nimbin and Bangalow on December 13 and 14, Drew’s tour finishes in Sydney with several events, including an evening event on Dec. 15 with deep ecologist and activist, John Seed.
