It's a real pleasure to announce the release of SEED International's terrific film "think global: eat local". Many of our readers will know of the pioneering work of Morag Gamble and Evan Raymond, two of Australia's most accomplished Permaculture teachers and practitioners, and this film is the result of Morag and Evan's extensive travels and onground work. The film is 15 minutes long and is a wonderful introduction to the ideas and activities within localisation. The Federal Minister for Climate Change and Water, the Hon. Penny Wong, recently announced the death of one of Australia’s most outstanding scientists and communicators, Professor Peter Cullen. The following item was released from the Minister on March 14, 2008.
